Welcome to the jGuard's wiki

What is jGuard ?

jGuard is a library that provides EASY security (authentication and authorization) for Java web applications.

It is built over the stable and mature JAAS framework, which is part of the JAVA J2SE api.

jGuard is very flexible and allows several different ways to configure those mechanisms for authentication and authorization, i.e., in a relational database, XML files, or LDAP service. See documentation for more details.

jGuard is under the open source LGPL license.

Sorry, I don't see the side bar with link to languages specfics docs and add a sumary section to main page. If you think that this section is useless, please, remove. Otherwhise keep this, don't make bad to anybody. :)

I think that is good idea to create one translated version for each language of the main page and put a link in the main page. So, people that dont know english and come to jGuard's wiki will not be lost. ;)
